    Bring your creations to life in this 3D printing class. The ancient craft of jewelry making is brought to the modern world using TinkerCad and 3D printers. Students will learn to build 2D and 3D models on the computer using CAD software. They will design and print a pair of earrings, a ring, or a pendant in this class. Additionally, they will get to bring home two of their 3D creations.   • ACT Test Prep Course l Grades 10-12 (Virtual)

    **Please read before registering for this virtual class: Your student's district Chromebook will not work for this virtual class. You will need to have access to a personal laptop or desk top computer (with camera and microphone) to participate in the virtual option. During the next few months, many of our juniors and seniors will take their ACT College Entrance Test. To help students prepare for this test, Advantage Educational Programs, in cooperation with Eastern Carver County Community Education, will offer their ACT prep courses to students from all high schools in Eastern Carver County.     In this advanced drawing class designed especially for older kids, we’ll explore the exciting world of Anime!     In general, the person for this class has played on a Varsity team or the upper level of the JV team AND has a desire to play on the Varsity team in the future! Each class will consist of developing all the tennis strokes, conditioning and singles/doubles strategy through both instructor-fed and live-ball drills to further develop the skills which are needed to play on a high school Varsity team. New this year will be the utilization of the ball machine so players can have more repetition learning each tennis stroke. This class also includes weekly match play from 1-3pm on Wednesdays. If your son or daughter has played on a HS team other than Chanhassen, please reach out to Jim Mason at jimhmason@comcast.net before registering to ensure this is the appropriate level for your child. To make the class more schedule friendly-if you choose the 8 session section (6320.8) you may come to any 8 classes on a Tuesday and Thursday. This includes ALL THE MATCH DAYS on Wednesdays!

    DASH Sports Athleticism camps provide participants with an overall introduction to building athleticism. The camp experience includes running, agility, jumping, catching, balance/body control, and throwing.     AGES 8-10 A FREE T-SHIRT FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS! Monday- Thursday will place an emphasis on building your child's athletic skills while developing agility, balance and coordination. In addition, our well-trained and up-beat staff will have kids with a similar ability level rallying with each other and serving with proper grips and techniques. The Friday match play class will consist of an approximate 45-minute skill building portion and an approximate 45-minutes match play portion. The match play portion will place an emphasis on learning how to play games and sets while displaying good sportsmanship. The match play portion will incorporate a modified court setup developed by the United States Tennis Association for kids within this age group. Please bring your appropriate sized tennis racquet and a water bottle.     AGES 11-15 The emphasis of this class is to develop an enthusiasm for the game of tennis. The students in this class range from beginner to those that have taken previous classes, to those that have been in the middle school program. The focus will be on serving and being able to rally with proper grips and techniques. Increasing the student's athleticism, agility, balance, and fine motor skills will also be a key focal point.     Come explore your feelings in this interactive camp designed to help students learn about, manage and identify emotions. Students will engage in skill building, movement activities, community building and crafts to increase their feeling vocabulary and build skills to cope with emotions.
